  B&B Santiago Quattro Al Colosseo is about a mile or so or a 10-15 minute bus ride away from Termini train station. My mom and I did not yet know the bus system so we decided to walk. When I booked, I told the hotel that we would arrive between 3 or 4pm. We got there right at three but there was no one around to buzz us in.   We loved our stay. Andrea, the owner is very comitted to everything, being there everyday to make sure all is going well. Superb location, walking distance from all the important spots, wich was very important to us, travelling with a 9 year old son. If needed the Metro Station is 50 meters away. What more can you ask...Our room was beatiful, modern and clean style, in a 100 years old building, with all the amenities and a SmartTv LCD w - The wifi wasn't permanent when we arrived (still being setup), so we got a portable wifi access-point. That was great to take with us during our various tours through rome :) The room was very clean, though we rarely saw any staff. The location (directly next to the colosseum) suggests a high price, but the price wasn't actually that high. Breakfast is served in the next-door restaurant. Simple cafe + croissant. Be sure not to get anything extra, since the restaurant/coffee-bar is quite expensi

  The room was perfect for us - nice sized, very clean, modern, with a great view of the Colosseum & Forum. It's a small group of rooms on the 2nd floor within a larger building - so it gives the feel of small bed-and-breakfast or something similar. Roberto fought through our complete lack of ability to speak Italian and still give us some great tips on places to visit and eat. Even helped us - Location was what we wanted: close to Colosseo and Forum. Each morning we had coffee outside the cafe next to the entrance door to our appts watching Colosseo and bathing in the morning sun. 6-8 euro to the place from the historic center (Parteon ) by taxi if you are tired. Metro is 1-2 min from the place. Room is nice, clean, very modern. We have booked with the appts the transfers to and from the airport - very comvinient. Wifi worked very well. Roberto and Claudia were nice and helpful. Nice
