We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

  The reason I chose this hotel was the fabulous location - when in Rome,I spend most of my time at the ancient monuments, and this place is right at the bottom of the via Cavour, literally a minute or two from the Roman and Imperial Fora. Everything was clean and though the style of decor would, for some, probably be a little out of date, I thought it was quite charming. Note though - Once we arrived the staff was prompt and happy to greet us. Though we didn't speak Italian they spoke enough English to communicate perfectly. The stay was great, we decided we needed to stay a second night without booking it and they ensured me it wasn't a problem offering me the same rate. Ana Paola and Luigi were extremely polite and helpful. The location is right dead in the heart of Ancient Rome, absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of restaurants and bars close as well.

  My sister and I stayed at the Relais Terme Di Tito, Rome Italy for 4 nights. We were warmly greeted by Krizia, who helped us in every aspect from recommending tourist attractions, to restaurants, etc. We were treated incredibly and felt instantly at home. There´s some noise from the streets, but it didn´t bother me. Connnie and her brother-in-law are the best!!!

  We visited Soggiorno Downtown late October. What a lovely bed&breakfast! The room was nice (very Italian in decoration), and clean with a good shower. Breakfast was nothing fancy but very good and enough for the first hours of walking that is inevitable when you want to see Rome properly. We had a great stay and who doesn't want to sleep that - We liked everything!!! It is an amazing place to stay. The owner Lorenzo is the friendliest owner we have ever met. He was helpful,understanding and did more than you could expect. Our room was clean, lovely, quite and comfortable. Location is perfect because you can reach all turistic places by foot.
