  The location was perfect - a short walk to almost everything! Even the things that were "far" were only a 20 minute walk. (Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain) Alina at the front desk was awesome and so helpful!! The rooms were nice & clean. The bathrooms were nice as well. Free breakfast/cappuccino & WiFi is always a plus for us whe - Everything about the Hotel 47 experience was excellent, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The location for a visit to Rome was perfect for those whe enjoy walking around a city. It was close to many of the major monuments, resteraunts, and public transport. The accomodation was excellent with wonderful views over some of Rome's ancient temples. The breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

  Loved having breakfast delivered to our room at a time that we specified. It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. My wife was very happy with the ear rings. Thanks! Though no tea/coffee making in room, just had to ask and espresso was delivered, gratis. A nice touch.

This hotel is only 2-3 blocks from the coliseum, as well as the colosseo metro stop. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!
