  THe close location to the Duomo and the rest of Florence. Hearing the bells ring everyday. THe staff was so very friendly and helpful. The room was very simple but clean. The breakfast was adequate. Wish it had boiled eggs. The free breakfast was much better than expected, and very well stocked. Even the cappuccino was good! The bathroom was spacious clean and everything worked.   The staff was lovely. The hotel was beautifully kept and the rooms spotless. The rooms also had a modern security system and all modern amenities. The location is fabulous. My view was of the Duomo. And you step outside and turn to your left and you are in the plaza of the Duomo. It's a five minute walk to the Academia and five to the Uffizzi. If I ever make it back to Florence I would be sure to stay there again! - The best feature is the location! You walk out the door and BAM! there's the Duomo. Waking up to the bells was an experience I will never forget. Also, it is an easy walk from the train station as well as to the major Florence attractions. It made walking around in the cool evening enjoying the city very convenient. The hotel itself is very charming, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful place to stay!!!

  The location is incredible. Right outside my window, so close I almost felt I could touch it, was the fantastically beautiful Il Duomo de Firenze (cathedral), Florence's most popular sight to see. You immediately feel like it's *your* piazza since you "live" there, and all the other people milling around are just tourists. The bells in the morning... mitä ihmiset sanovat » were magical. I should add that the piazza is noisy until late at night but the windows are excellent modern double- glazed ones, and when I shut the - Unbelievable location right in front if the Duomo - was blown away by the view from my window (sometimes the hotel add isn't quite real)!given the location I thin this is a budget friendly option - I wanted the ability to enjoy views rather than have a mega room. I had solo room with single bed which was fine (all I did was sleep there) and central to everything. Kelly was really helpful for recommendations re markets (Mercato Centrale is a must) and restaurants (ZaZa's is terrific) and things

  The location of this hotel is superb. It is right next to the Duomo! We got upgraded to a bigger room, however the view from the room is minimal. The room is very clean, they provide all the facilities you need.   Perfect location. Crawling distance to the Duomo. In the heart of Florence. Loved Lorenzo and his mom Barbara. Very clean, very comfortable and included a lovely self serve breakfast. Wi-Fi was also good. We entered through an unassuming doorway, up a tiny old exposed elevator to a welcoming B&B on the forth floor. Very quaint!   Right after the booking I got an e-mail from the staff, which welcomed my booking and gave basic info about the B&B. The B&B was easy to find, almost next to the Duomo.
