  The owners were really friendly, helped us by giving us city information/maps and even upgraded our room to the suite at no extra cost!! The location of the hotel is ideal, with only 2 minutes walk to both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain and the metro station just around the corner. Plus the breakfast was lovely too.   This is a lovely boutique/lofty kind of hotel. Location is excellent. We arrived at the hotel not quite knowing how to get in as there was no signage. Rang door bell and someone came down very quickly to let us in. We entered up some stairs and around a corner...still not really sure what we were getting ourselves into.   We stayed in the room with the bathroom across the hall. It was exactly as seen in the pictures, plus the kitchenette with some basic cutlery etc. The hall is a small area so the bathroom is very close to the room and it's a great size. It was more then we expected and we were blown away by it.  The room was cleaned everyday, there is a tea & coffee making facil - The part time staff agent was very helpful, friendly when checking us in, it is the best prime location in downtown Rome, and I really like the way that the building has been renovated to be modern while still keeping some of the ancient details like the beautiful wooden ceiling.

Comfortable suite has one small stair (step) between the living room and the kitchen place and the same one betweet the bathroom and the cloakroom (it may be difficul for small children who don't walk yet). We had the keys, could feel at home. There is a mini kitchen where it is possible to cook food, to make coffee. Manuel the wonderful owner, was very attentive and useful to us. Five minutes to the fountain and the Spanish ladder, and thus very quiet place. I recommend for couple of friends or a family.
