  My husband and I stayed here with our two little girls last weekend. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. We booked an apartment and got one on the second floor (or "first" in europe) with a kitchen. There was a nice view of the sea, not spectacular but definitely more than I expected. The room(s) were very clean, surprisingly quiet, and well ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » laid out. It wasn't luxurious, but for the price, you really can't beat it - it was great. The hotel was more of a B&B than a hotel, which we real - Beautifully clean and very-well equipped, as others have stated. They welcomed our labrador, one of the reasons we chose this hotel. As it's family run, they were friendly, helpful and supplied a terrific, generous breakfast. I work in the tourism industry where people DO NOT clean up after themselves and it's an EXTREMELY GOOD IDEA that anyone who uses the kitchen facility should pay to have it cleaned.   Good hotel, friendly staff, extensive breakfast. Be careful, don't follow the GPS, follow the signs or you may arrive at the backdoor and it's quite an art to escape, backwards driving, no way to turn, through a small alley... The godfath - We truley enjoyed our stay at Sant Alphio, we were close to the beach and city centre of Giardini only a few minutes away.
