Room located towards Via Porta Rossa, kind of noicy street. Would have loved a gym/ fitness center in the building.
A beautiful building in a great location with very comfortable, interesting bedrooms. The staff were v friendly and helpful. What more can I say? We had a great time.

First time I've stayed at an nh hotel, will definitely look for others. This was the fanciest hotel during our 2 weeks in Europe, and was worth the splurge.
Absolutely wonderful hotel right in centre of old Florence. Everything you would want to see is just a short pleasant walk away. Our deluxe room was very big, clean and comfortable with a frame bed and huge couch. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of dishes. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast staff even remember what you like and bring it without asking. My wife and I stayed for six nights and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
There was nothing not to like. Just being really picky, as UK guests we would have liked to have tea making facilities in the room.

Hotel was excellent in every respect- amazing building combining historic appearance with modern facilities , quite breath taking . Wonderful breakfasts provided as part of the deal. Ideally located for exploring the great city...so diverse..so many eateries and bars nearby. Wonderful weather. The last time we were in Florence was as students in the early sixties. We were really delighted that we chose to go back to Florence to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary!!!!

We were upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. The shower was spacious and modern. The decor in the hotel is a wonderful mix of old and new. The breakfast buffet had many choices and was good.
The wifi was a pain as you had to continually log in and renew.

A few things, while they looked great, didn't function very well, like the shower head. It was on a wand and just wouldn't stay in place like a regular shower. There was no way you could keep it from slipping down the pole and spraying in the right direction. Also we asked for a mid priced recommendation for a restaurant and even by Florence's standards it was very expensive and just not all that great.C

We upgraded our room for a (discounted) 35 Euros per night. We stayed in "The Tower" which was a room on 3 floors with an old stone winding staircase. It was incredible. The top floor (the bedroom) had 360 degree views of Florence for miles. Very romantic and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Of the 4 or 5 people who worked on reception, they were all incredibly nice and all offered to help with bookings/recommendations and getting around the town. Valentina was especially magnificent and went out of her way to make sure we were happy at all times. Breakfast was very nice. Selection of pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal etc. Worth paying for in my opinion. Very nicely located. You can walk to the centre in minutes. It's just a very short walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!
NH Porta Rossa is in an extremely central location which is convenient for everything in Central Florence. The rooms are extremely comfortable. No downsides whatsoever.
I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were fantastic - I watched as they accommodated several guests with short notice changes and they were just so helpful and courteous. Breakfast was fantastic, its location is as good as it gets - easy access to all the sites, restaurants and shops. The room was bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. Overall, I would rate this hotel joint first in all the hotels I have stayed in within Europe. Strongly recommended.

This is an amazing hotel in a fantastic location to enjoy Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful, recognising we were on honeymoon and treating us well. The breakfast was extremely good. Whilst it was expensive, we will return to this hotel.

I did not like is booking a superior double & ending in a standard double room (20sqm vs 16 sqm) This wa very dissapointing, to say the least. Moreover, WiFi connectivity
Front desk personnel were excellent, even though sometime undermanned. usually only one clerk even though it was very busy and check-in or check-out time.
I am not as familiar as I should be about hotel prices in Florence, but it was expensive I thought. Perhaps it is the location that makes it so expensive.

We had two rooms. The air conditioning didn't work in one room and the hotel was very reluctant to change our room, claiming that all rooms are full. When we told them that we will leave the hotel, they gave us a room.
This was one of the best hotels I stayed in. Service, location, comfort, value you cannot complain abt! I would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely stay here on my next trip
Position was really good and the staff were very helpful, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and it was clean which is a must.
There was no bath, no bidet which is strange in a European hotel and the air con. Could have worked better. Also no full length mirror and you had to ask for slippers.
I love this hotel, the design, the staff are all lovely and helpful, and it's strategicly located.

Beautiful old palazzo in a great location. One of the two rooms we booked (which was upgraded) had a gorgeous painted ceiling.
The other room had a faulty lock (key card took multiple tries to work every time we used it) and broken air conditioning. The hotel basically declared these things fixed even though they weren'T.
