  The owner, Rudi, was very friendly and helpful. The way he has painted each of the rooms in different colours is novel and interesting. For breakfast you have to collect it from the kitchen and take it to your room where you can eat it on the balcony, which, of course, we did. The rooms have plant names and are very comfy. Every room has a balcony where you can have breakfast. Rudi had the idea to involve all guests in the concept of crudo rooms. You have to give water to the plant on the balcony, there is a book shelve where you can leave and take books and a glas where you can leave shells.   We strongly recommend this small hotel, especially if you like individual atmospher and friendly staff in a great location. We had the Maria Cristina suite, which is really nice and comfortable. He was very friendly and helpful giving us restaurant recommendations and describing the different areas of the city. Our suite was gorgeous, very spacious and beautifully furnished. The breakfast is very good quality and plentiful. I couldn't recommend The Place highly enough, it's in a great location for exploring the city
