The Cà del Gando is the single sweetest and coziest B&B I've ever been in. It's very well situated in the middle of the Brescia historical centre a stone throw away from the Santa Giulia museum. Some 75m from the B&B there's a free car park in front of a Carabinieri barracks (so I'd imagine very safe). If I understood right, there is also a possibility for private parking if booked beforehand but really, the free public parking is well enough for anyone (unless you travel in a Ferrari o.
kaikki arvostelut » We enjoyed our stay at Ca Del Gando a lot. The hotel is perfectly situated in the historical centre of Brescia and is still in a quite street. The host was a very friendly and helpful person. A big advantage is a private parking, since public parking facilities in the city centre are generally overcrowded. The typical italian breakfast (a hot drink and pastry) was delicious and was offered at the cafe next to the hotel (by the way, in this cafe they offer the home made pasta typical for the reg. Great B&B in an old townhouse! Unusual and interesting, cosy and comfortable room. New and modern facilities. Everywhere very clean. There is a possibility to make tea in the room and use fridge in the common kitchen. Very competent, friendly and helpful manager. Andrea is a wonderful and very friendly host who takes good care for his guests. A very nice b&b which is situated in the old town of Brescia. Next to the b&b a nice walk to the castle starts. I would return to this b&b when I'm in Brescia again!. Very good location. Staff is very nice, helpful, speak excellent English. Rooms are clean. There is a nice café in the building, what I highly recommend for snack or easy lunch. The name is Agora Café. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I didn't have to drag my heavy luggage upstairs: he did it. I could also leave my luggage in the room, to collect it downstairs when I was ready to go. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, with great coffee. The location is perfect for strolling around the town. Very nice accomodation and an interesting configuration. Location,. This small flat (not a hotel!) is in the heart of the city: all the places to see are in few minutes by feet. Andrea, a son of the owners, speaks good English and can readily ask your questions about city beauties and life. The owners are very friendly. The location is in the center of the city making it easy to walk to sites and restaurants. Nothing. To me, it was it bit far out from the center station and a bit outside of the center itself. Getting onto the wifi was a bit of a hassle, but worked fine. No air conditioning. Parking was difficult. Our room was on the top floor. It was very hot and only one window. This made it hard to sleep. Also, it was very noisy both inside and outside. Again, making it difficult to sleep.
