Villa Aruch is an excellent property to stay at. Too stylish, too spacious ( a rarity in Europe) and too comfortable. It is a very tastefully done up property with personal touches evident everywhere. Once inside, you don't feel like leaving the hotel and going out anywhere. The only and probably a very major problem is its location. The hotel is situated in one corner of the town, totally cut off from the main areas with no supermarkets or restaurants anywhere close by. My apartment was large and well appointed the location at the entrance if the Baboli gardens was perfect and seated as it was in a residential area only a short walk to all the sites if Florence and very close to some superb restaurants. Clara was available at the end of a phone for an advice and she's generously helped me to book ahead my way out of the queue. The apartment was the perfect antidote to tourist congestion.

Very attentive staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast restaurant.
The area looks dodgy at first, but it's just around the corner of the residential area with shop and restaurants.
There is a direct bus into the city centre, you can buy tickets at the reception without any surcharge. -
