The Meridiana is a small family-run hotel, offering direct access to Lake Como from its garden with sun terrace. All rooms offer free internet, and a balcony with views of the lake. Rooms are compact and cosy. Each is equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, tea/coffee maker, and private bathroom with bath and shower. During summer breakfast is served on the lake-view terrace. The hotel offers free parking. It is located between the villages of Varenna and Dervio, both a 10-minute drive away.

This is an exceptional family owned & operated hotel, easily accessible by train from Milan.. The family & staff take great pride in this resort which is right on Lake Como. Very clean, tastefully decorated room, and a gorgeous dining room overlooking the lake. Very helpful personal attention from the staff about how best to enjoy the area in our 3 day stay. Wonderful location in Bellano (which is usually a quiet village) right on the lakeside. Our room opened onto a balcony that had the lake lapping right underneath it. Great dining room with big picture windows onto lake. Breakfast was really good with eggs cooked to order by the owner!.

Very comfortable and unpretentious hotel in a quiet and peaceful lakeside setting. Easy access to swimming in lake and to ferry. The owners and staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful, fun and always professional. The location is wonderful. Little touches like bath robes and slippers in the bathroom. The breakfasts are delicious, with home-made fare. The evening meals are fantastic. We loved the location, the warmth of the owners and the food. Pierra enjoys helping her clients find lots to visit in the area. Bellano is just the low-key environment that my husband and I were looking for and we found just the right hotel to stay!. Our room had a balcony right on Lake Como...not just a view, we could hear the waves lapping at the shore! The proprietress went out of her way to be helpful, anticipating our needs and helping us navigate around. The service! You couldn't fault it! Everything at the hotel was perfect really! The view is breathtaking....you could sit & take it in all day! It's also away from the main tourist area which is nice!. A really fantastic establishment on the banks of Lake Como. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Perfect location in Bellano to catch the ferry to Bellagio. Greatly recommended. Loved the charm and local ambiance of the town of Bellano. Location - excellent position on the lake with good parking facilities. Nothing to dislike. Nothing!. The transport to bellano isn't as efficient as other places in Como! It's a must to work out when the ferries leave/arrive, then you'll be fine!. Nothing. The smokers on the balconies. That their wonderful restaurant was closed the day we were there. Hotel was all but closed - most of the hotel was cordoned off to prevent a security alarm being activated - which it was! The restaurant was closed and it required a 5-10 minute walk to nearest restaurant. What was promoted as a hotel is basically a B&B at this time of the year.
