proximity to the bus stop of the direct bus from the train station - Locations was excellent even though it was just outside the walls. Parking was key! Loved that I didn't have to drive the narrow streets with all the pedestrian traffic. Breakfast was good and fresh. Coffee was excellent!

This country house is my favorite place that I've stayed at during 26day-winter trip. I'd definate -
Second stay @ Il Roseto. Came back because it was so good the first
time. Massimo and family again great hosts. Il Roseto has great charm
and character, with a view of Assisi from the dining room that cannot be
matched. La Signora is sensational (93 yrs of age) and still in
everthing. Thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone going to Assisi and
is just 12 minutes walking distance away.

The peace and quiet, and the beauty of the location are fantastic! The bed was one of the best I've ever slept on; staff were helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant was out of this world wonderful! I would certainly stay here again. - A real luxurious pearl in the middle of an immensely impressive nature reserve, on top of a mountain !!

Good security staff while only on site for breakfast went out of their way to help us including picking us up from ports nova bus depot and taking us up the hill in their car which was appreciated by New Zealand travellers who had been travelling over 25 hours to get to this first port of stay. This inn is a jewel. It is a third-generation hotel run by Stephano and
