  My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

If you have a car there is plenty of places to park on the street If you have a child then there is a spare bed in the same room which is handy. - Very warm welcome and helpful. Roomy appartment with very good facilities such as a washing machine. Generous bowl of fruit, water, beer in the fridge given as a welcome package. Excellent value for money, 10 minutes walk from Alghero historic centre, 5 minutes from the beach.

  Really enjoyed fantastic location overlooking the sea but in the centro storico.. Quirky apartment, clean and well run.. Antonio looked after us very well and made us feel very at home.. Fantastic shared terrassa . great place to stay..
