Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

The room was very large and comfortable. The facilities were superb. The fridge was fully laden with water cheese ham yogurts milk cold drinks, and the cupboard was stacked with bread croissants cutlery tea coffee. More than enough. We had a fine balcony and although it overlooked the street, it was nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a tea time drink. It is centrally located only 2 minutes walk from the front and the old town. Couldn't fault it.

This is a small family run B&B. They really are inviting you into their home and city. Maria Grazia is there for breakfast and is eager to help with any recommendations for your stay, and she speaks perfect English. The rooms are clean and well kept. Nice large balcony. The breakfast was very filling. They kept our bags for the day as we had a night flight, and were even kind enough to let us shower after we returned from the beach. Overall great stay.

We stayed for only 2 nights but I would choose this place again. In spite of proximity to the beach and old city center you dont feel like living on Khao San. You are staying in Italy among Italians but still close to POI. Room is quite big, clean and street not noisy. Even though they don't have 24 hour service no problem with late and delayed arrival like ours at 2 am. WiFi working well.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The owners are lovely people, friendly and thoughtful. The rooms are clean, light and equipped with anything you would need...shampoo, bottled water, even sun umbrellas.
The fridge is every day filled with fruit, juices and yogurt which can be eaten all day long.
The location is ideal, right next to the old city walls. Opposite this B&B you can park for free.

From the moment we arrived the host, Claudio, made me and my friend feel very welcome. He was extremely helpful and kind. There was a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us in the bedroom, and a fabulous chocolate banana cake sending gorgeous aromas through the house another evening! I felt completely at home in Calciufetta. The breakfast was perfect, plenty of selection and the best coffee I have had in a B&B ever. I will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Alghero.

The accomodation was very spacious, bed very comfortable and kept extremely clean. It has a home from home feeling and you can relax. It is close to the old town of Alghero but also close to the promenade and easy to get to buses for exploring. The landlady Rita is the most wonderful, friendly, caring person, and made our trip very enjoyable.
