We found Park Hotel Elefante at the last minute and I'm so glad we
did. We arrived late and were relieved to find that the hotel had a
restaurant where we had a great meal at a reasonable price. Location was
just outside of Verona and was extremely peaceful in comparison. Staff
were more than friendly and helpful and would recommend the hotel whole
heartedly.

This hotel is perfect if you want to be a short distance from the busy city center of Verona. The hotel is updated, artistically pleasing, clean, and meticulously kept. The manager who was on duty while we were there was very attentative and helpful . He answered every question we had about Verona. We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)

Room was spacious and well equipped. There was a separate kitchen area with everything you need. If you stay for a long time you can prepare some food with no trouble. The fridge could hold an elephant!
Location is good for car but can also easily be accessed by bus - stop is right after the corner, travel to the city center takes 10-15 min.
