  Excellent location close to the center of Assisi and close to the impressive St Francis church. We stayed 4 nights and we liked it. Easy walking to the center with many good restaurants. We had a deluxe room with a view to the valley, which was fantastic. Breakfast was good with a good choice of products. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, therefore no comments - It was an amazing experience staying at Giotto Hotel and Spa just minutes from St. Francis' Basilica. The staff and facilities at Giotto were terrific. The views from our room looking out over the hillside city of Assissi and the plain below are unforgettable. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and it was exceptional and also unforgettable. Our waiter was terrific. Perfect in every way!!!

  Excellent for the whole family. Great play area for the kids - in sight of the rooms but far enough away so the noise doesn't bother anyone else. Fabulous place to relax after a busy day visiting Assisi. So close to the city that it is easy to go back and forth for naps for the kids or lunch. Very friendly owners! I did an impromptu luncheon on the 3rdfloor balconey, which was organized by Carmella a receptionist at thefront desk, which was both good value and an oustanding success. - Being able to hand over the keys of our car on arrival and then asking for it the next day - wonderful. The hotel was pleasant and the pool great fun. Wound have preferred the small tearoom to have been open during our stay. The view from there was a delight.
