  The Welcome we received from Mary and James began our stay on a wonderful note. The ambiance of the lodge was so welcoming. The selection of food for breakfast catered to all taste buds and was presented immaculately. It is in a superb location. - Mary and James were the perfect hosts making every aspect of our visit stress free including arranging a baby sitter and a lovely seat at a restaurant in town. The Lodge itself is meticulously maintained and our room was perfect. Breakfast was lovely and our son loved the pancakes, home made scones were also delicious. We will be back again.

  Perfect central yet quiet location. Friendly staff that could not do enough for you...so lovely. Really large bedroom with loads of towels. Safe storage for our bicycles. Loads of parking.   The best b & b we have ever stayed in. Very nice & helpful hosts. Nice room, very comfortable. Soft & large towels, modern decor. A beautiful area. A short walk to Portmagee harbor. I'm sure this is one of the best b & b in all of Ireland. - Both my wife and myself loved everything about shealane guest house. I would say it was easily the best we have stayed in. Jim and Mary ,the owners were very hospitable, the breakfasts amazing and the house itself was beautifully located. I don't think we have stayed in any hotels which could compete with the hospitality of the owners and the range and quality of the breakfasts. A big thank you to them both for a memorable trip.   The guest accommodations were clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. We stayed in the family room and it was the perfect getaway. The children loved playing on the beach close by, sat in the living room and played chess and even threw the baseball in the front yard area. Very comfortable, incredible view from the dining room and comfy lounge. Decent breakfast next morning, cooked to order and served promptly. Nice big mugs in the room for tea or coffee.

  Lovely friendly staff - esp the Polish lady. Breakfast was v good. Excellent location within 2 mins walk of the centre of town and right on the harbour/marina.
