  This is the second time I've stayed in the Shelbourne Hotel and will definitely be returning. Stayed with a friend of mine just for a night away to catch up and do some shopping etc. location is absolutely perfect, a short stroll to Grafton Street, and surrounded by great pubs and restaurants.   This was one of the best trips I've had to Dublin. My flight was delayed, and my husband's flight was ever more delayed, so we arrived late at night, tired, hungry and grumpy. The staff could not have been nicer, whisking our bags upstairs and organising drinks for us in the drawing room at the speed of light. We arrived early in the morning at 10.00am and the reception staff checked us in and held our luggage in their store, they told us to return at 14.00 hrs and our room would be ready.   One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The receptionist I dealt on checking in and out with was wonderful and a real credit to the hotel. The location is super with being right in the centre of Dublin but also nice and quiet at night. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.
