  I travelled from Finland with friends to the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel in July 2013. We had a wonderful stay with a very comfortable and extremely spacious room. Our friends were upgraded to a superior executive suite which was a nice surprise and we also received a big discount on parking. What impressed me the most however was the way the staff treated us having arrived back late after a day's stroll - i would like to say a big thank you so much to the kilkenny ormonde hotel for looking after my 18 yr old son and his girlfriend..they stayed for 2 nights last weekend as a xmas present from me, from the minute they arrived they were made feel very welcome and were giving a free upgrade to a suite..this they absolutly loved as it was their first time away together and after such a great time they didnt want to come home..so thank you so much ormonde hotel and staff for all they did to make my so

  Hotel was gorgeous just like what you see on website.. Staff where friendly enough. I was surprised when we arrived at our room that it was the same as on your website. Usually there is always a let down once getting to your room, its never usuaully the same as it was decribed and visually placed on the website. Both myself and partner where really happy with the place and will defo be visiting aga - A lovely hotel just a short walk into the town centre. The staff really could not do enough for us, they were probably one of the best hotel staff we have ever experienced. They definitely went beyond what they needed to. The hotel is lovely and clean and modern. The rooms were lovely and big, think we stopped in a deluxe. The breakfast was also very nice. There was a spa but we didn't have time to use it. Highly recommend this hotel - we will definitely be going back!!

  A great stay here. The staff were brilliant and it was difficult to fault this place in any way. Bang in the centre of town and handy for pubs and restaurants as well as the castle and cathedral. Breakfast - a comprehensive buffet, with tea & coffee served by the most welcoming waitress we've encountered, never mind first thing in the morning. Parking is available free, on site

  Very clean and modern B&B. Super friendly staff. Nice room and yummy breakfast. Highly recommend if you'll be staying around Kilkenny. It's not really within walking distance to City Center but they have a phone in the entrance area to easily call a cab (cost is about 10 Euro to get to the castle right near the town). It was one of the best places we stayed at across our 10 day trip. - loved this place! cleanest place i have ever stayed, you could literally have eaten off the floor. rooms were small but very comfy and the husband and wife team were super great. a little out of the main town but that was kind of nice, the town was loud - Rooms were clean, there was a place to visit with other guests, very friendly owners, great breakfast, very clean, even though on a main street it was definitely quiet, convenient to reach with a car, able to have tea or coffee any time of the day/evening.
