Mary the Inn Keeper was very nice and helpful to us. The room was very
clean and quiet and just a short walk to city center. Offered many
choices for a full hot Irish breakfast. Great location to visit the town
of Kenmare and also close to the Ring of Kerry. Stayed there just 1
night but wish we had stayed there longer. Much to do in this area. We

The owners were so gracious and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and homey. It was very nice to have a community sitting room as we were 2 couples traveling together. Wi-Fi was very good. And the bathroom was very roomy, ultra clean, and bright and sunny. we enjoyed sitting outside on a nice patio in the evening as well. the town was quaint and had great food.
Mary was a wonderful host. She was absolutely accommodating. The breakfast tasted fresh and she even made my breakfast to specifically cater to my dietary needs. Her dog, Pippa, was also welcoming as well as the donkeys next door. The room was bright and overlooked the peaceful countryside. The b&b is situated right next to the golf course and the park.
Mary was an excellent host - accommodating, personable and informative. We arrived on the wrong day and she was able to switch our booking and she did so with a minimum of fuss! Her breakfasts were delicious. I would definitely recommend this B & B.
Mary was a sweatheart and cared to all our needs, the room was perfect, very quiet house and you just felt at home. Amazing breakfasts! Ashfield B&B is one of our top place ever, and after 30&more B&B in 6 different countries, that says a lot.

The location was ideal and scenic. Only a 5 minute walk to the main street of Kenmare. Mary greeted us at the door and made us feel at home. Very accommodating and hospitable.

Every thing was spot on.
This has nothing to do with Ashfield. The town's restaurants, while good, are all expensive. After 4 nights we would have preferred to eat something simpler.

We had a small room (which had been described a Superior) with sloping ceiling . I am tall and had to be very careful (sometimes unsuccessfully) not to hit my head.
