  The apartment was perfect for my family of three! After putting my daughter to bed, my husband and I could still relax and enjoy an evening in the living room rather than hiding from her view in the bathroom. And if you don't feel like walking into the city, you can enjoy the view of it from the amazing patio. We will definitely stay here again when - We absolutely loved the location. So close to shopping, city sights and the bus station. We also loved the size of our apartment. Our daughter is living in Galway and we were able to entertain 7 of her friends. She was also able to stay with us for the duration of our stay. The free parking garage was wonderful also as we rented a car for 3 days and didn't have to worry about parking. Last but not least, the view of the city and Galway Bay was spectacular!

  Absolutely everything! I am a travel agent in Ireland, so I know what to expect and was not expecting a lot from a hostel. However, the reviews looked good and price was great. I was so impressed by the staff, the provision of towels, the location and most of all by the apartment that we stayed in. In Sleepzone, they can show you what to do in the city, recommend restaurants and pubs and sell you guided tours to other places nearby Galway. Besides, the common areas are very clean and organized, specially the kitchen. A very simple breakfast (bread, jam and juice/coffee) is included, but it was more than enough for us.

  I had a wonderful 4 nights here. It's an incredibly homely place, with glorious thick carpets, a welcoming breakfast room and generally a fresh, modern and bright feel throughout. I had a single room up at the top of the house, facing the back.   The stuff was brilliant,always ready to help us with everything we needed, they also helped us to organize the trip the cliffs of moher and aron inslands!they kindly let us check-in earlier. Our room was clean and comfortable with a strong hot shower. Plenty of dry towels were supplied on both nights and we got a breakfast that would keep you going all day. Despite the weather being cold the room was kept at a lovely temperature. Sharon, the lady of the house, was very pleasant to us and helped us out with any requests. Friends of ours that stayed

  Galway as a family holiday was excellent although the sunny weather definitely made it. We had our car so great beaches such as Salthill, Barna and Spieddel was only 10 - 15 min drive away. Some excellent restaurants at these locations too. The apartments were 25 mins walk from city centre, not 15. Lots of activities nearby which would have been good it if had of been raining such as cinema and - The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Being able to eat in the hotel bar restaurant at a discount price was good value - the menu choice was good and the food tasty. The apartments were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. Overall a very good experience.

  The Salt Hill Location itself is nice village, with a variety of restaurants. We tried Black Cat which was great for lunch but service a little slow during dinner. The fish and chips shop is great too for takeaways. I pick up my morning coffee from Gourmet Tart Company next door (they open at 7:30am). Not only was it convenient to Galway city center, but to a delightful area called Upper Salthill. Wonderful pubs and restaurants just around the corner!   For me, number one when I'm traveling alone is the interactions I have with the staff at a lodging. In this case, they were extraordinarily welcoming, helpful, and very kind. They booked tours and restaurants and steered me to local sites and pubs. Breakfasts were great (I was there on Weekends when they serve the full Irish breakfast. The location is excellent-- as a woman traveling alone, - We stayed in their 2 bed self catering studio apartment. The apartment itself was very nice, with tv, sky (also in both bedrooms), we could all watch different channels which was great. Take note that this apartment as a fridge, cooker, dishwasher & a dryer, so remember to take ur own food if you want to.
