Bright and traditional décor features in every room, as well as a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and an en suite bathroom with power shower. The varied breakfast menu includes pancakes, homemade bread and continental options such as fruit, juices and yoghurts, as well as traditional cooked breakfasts. You can relax with a game of pool in the games room with its- full-size snooker table and dartboard, or enjoy sitting out on the pretty garden patio with its sun loungers. The various beaches, restaurants and bars of Blackrock village are located 10 minutes’ walk away. Drogheda is a 25-minute drive and Darver Castle is a 10-minute drive away. Belfast can be reached in an hour by car.

Room very spacious. Plenty of electrical outlets. Nice wood floors/ paneling. Very, very clean. Good water pressure. Theresa very friendly.. her son very amiable-recommended good restaurants. No menus re: what items available for breakfast ... so not sure what to " request " for breakfast when we were asked. Could have had more fruit available. A lovely place to stay!. The welcome on arrival was excellent with help upstairs with our bags & a cup of tea. We stayed 4 days. Cheery welcome each morning and a very nice Irish breakfast. Neil & Theresa helped us make contact with our relatives in Carrickmacross. Most helpful and much appreciated.
kaikki arvostelut » neil ..one of the proprietors dropped me into the town of blackrock about a kilometer away in his car ....very nice of him ! a very late breakfast from a fuller menu is available in a separate establishment about 5 minutes walk away....a great facility for sleepy heads !. Friendly welcome and good guidance on surrounding area. Delicious breakfast the following morning. Very good value for our money and would definitely revisit. Theresa and Neil were great, friendly hosts! They made our stay enjoyable. Location was perfect and rooms clean and well kept. Will stay there again. Very friendly. All family members were available and willing to help us and to give us rides to the village and to restaurants and the bus stop. Room was excellent. Very comfortable. Staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast brilliant. Would highly recommend to others. Warm, friendly welcome by owners who had good local knowledge. Very clean. Comfortable. Good breakfast. Overall, a nice place. Second time to stay here, very nice B&B great location. The ownwers are extremely friendly and make you feel at home. Excellent help from the owner, really made to feel welcome. Good knowledge of local area facilities. Owner wouldn't be help enough and gave discount as result of shower and hot water not working. The hosts were wonderful and the food at the associated Coachman's Teahouses was exceptional!. hosts were warm and friendly couple. Bed very comfortable and breakfast excellent. The couple are really friendly and went the extra mile to help us out. The family was so friendly and nice, the place was very clean. The location was fantastic. The owner Teresa was so welcoming. I made a booking on letsbookhotel.com and when I arrived the place was closed, no phone number, and when I called the house number no one answered so was left stranded. Location. Lovely overall... could have more fruit for breakfast -- (however, it could have been back out of sight in the kitchen-- & we didn't know to ask for it ( nor did we wish to be too forward to ask about it directly))....but NOT a big issue with all the other amenities available !!. The noise from the bathroom mixer/booster was very loud and quite unpleasant. nothing to dislike in any way at all..a great find for base in dundalk/drogheda/blackrock areas. No negative comments to make as everything was more than satisfactory. Not much. My room had a kettle but no cups or tea bags,and the shower sounded like a lawn mower. Very minor issues. I will be back. Shower and Hot water didn't work in room. Just shower doors could have worked better but didnt bother me. Weather. Beds remained unmade ,teacups remained unwashed, power shower and shower drainage requiring urgent maintenance,breakfast below average.bedroom cupboard draws require repairs. Whilst the proprieters are friendly they appear to be neglecting the b&b and putting all their energy into the nearby tea rooms that they have recently opened.
