Mitä ihmiset sanovat
Proximity to Downtown Dublin. Clean friendly staff. Cleanliness. The good quality of the bed linen. The practical design of the room. The fact that the staff were prepared to find me a QUIET room, overlooking the courtyard, as I had requested in advance (rather than the noisy room that I was initially offered, on arrival). Location: Staff were very helpful and friendly:. kaikki arvostelut »
Location very central, Very helpful staff,. breakfast. I did not expect much from budget accomodation and indeed - what I saw was budget accommodation, but must say: room was tidy and very clean, double bed comfrotable, bathroom clean as weel. Hotel is in city centre, few steps to main attractions. I had nice time in Dublin and in hotel, next time if I'll searching cheap acommodation in Dublin for 1-2 nights Mercel Hotel will be first on my list. Excellent location. Considering the budget, I would recommend this hotel to anybody that needs a basic BandB in the center of Dublin. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast, simple but good enough. Not noisy at all. TV did not work at all (but who needs TV when visiting such a nice city?). rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.. I got upgraded to the Mercer Hotel. the staff were extremely helpful and Mercer court is in a great location. It is at the heart of the city. Location, nice hotel staff. Location brilliant!...in all, great value for money. Good location. The location is really super. Very warm welcome of the reception. Theprice is low, so you can't expect to much.it was in the city centre. Great location.Good position. Breakfast was good, served in a pleasant dining room. The staffwere helpful.Continental bfast pretty simple but good; bed comfortable; location good. staff helpful, good country breakfast. the location. good brekfast. good location. The rug was a bit smelly. No Tea making in room. The water that came out of the hot tap was dangerously hot. The breakfast - comprising bread, cakes, cereals, toast - makes absolutely no concessions to those with a wheat intolerance.Building and rooms were excruciatingly noisy. Hallway doors badly needed their hinges oiled.Doors constantly bang and is no noise insulation. I don't know how students can sleep enough to do their study there. Breakfast was minimal. Too bad if one doesn't like 4 types of sugar-laden, processed cereal (which is cheap). With so many Americans there muesli, yoghurt or fruit would be nice. Porridge?. steps. Tiny shower with low pressure. continental breakfast was poor. only 2 kinds of meal. Its great location also meant that you were in the centre of Dublin's night life so it was a bit noisy at night. There was some noise at night, as the room was at the first floor. Noise from the street. Other guests staying very loud and inconsiderate of other visitors atnight...no tea/coffee making facilities in room. The lack of service in the breakfast room on first and last day(cleaning is more important than serving tea and toast: after asked forit twice, I waited 20 minutes and left without tea and toast and had mybreakfast elswere. This happend 2 of the 3 mornings). The impatience ofthe chamer boy, although it was not even 10 o clock in the morning onsunday. In the weekend very noisy surrounding. I do not like "continental breakfast". The bathroom was poor. The water pressure in the shower was barelyexistent. Could not have a shower in the morning as no water pressure.Price expensive for what we got. Noise from the street traffic. My room had a broken chair, blind and lamp. The bathroom smelt musty, and the shower was mouldy. Their was a tv in the room, but it did notpick up any channels. Ropy tv and noise from street cleaning depot directly across the streetfrom my room, to-ing and fro-ing from 4:45 in the morning. For the moneyI expected better for the money. I moved after the obligatory first 2nights to a cheaper and "proper" hotel.small room. the bathroom was not very clean, it reminded me of something I'd seen on a prison movie. the rooms were not sound proof, one could hear everything the other guests did.small bed for two person. cost was expensive for facilities. More expensive than comparable accommodations in London (LSE guest houses, for example).
