Friendly and attentive staff, wonderful food especially the butternutsquash soup, loved the atmosphere of the site, too bad we could notwander around the ruins. The view of the coast, the serenity, the beauty - the sense of anothertime, but with really good food. The evening dinner was wonderful. The warm welcome and family presence in the hotel were great! The barman added greatly to the Clare experience. It is a charming place with an old world feel. The scenery is fabulous and the pleasure of sitting in the hotel watching the sun go down was just wonderful. Easy access to the beach at Fanore, Walking in the Burren, Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher!. kaikki arvostelut »
From check in to check out the hotel and the staff were fantastic. We had a long drive the day we checked in and Deklin took charge helped us to our room and arranged a gormet dinner for us. Highly recommended.Ballinalacken Castle is an excellent hotel although it is a little hard to find at night. Need more sign posts especially on roadway opposite hotel as one comes from Lahinch. Fantastic, peaceful surroundings, gorgeous food, a wonderful place to relax. I thought the management and staff were helpfull, friendly, and professional. The food was excellent, at dinner and at breakfast. The environment, seclusion, the view, the old ruin in the garden. The position and atmosphere. the view of the countryside. The bar area was not very comfortable. The instant coffee. the room was cold and dampish.
