  From the moment of our arrival to the morning of our departure the host was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The guest house was extremely clean and comfortable and well presented throughout. The breakfasts were good too. And Hannah was great, welcoming us with coffee and freshly baked scones. Upon request in advance, she even prepared lactose free meals for one my friends. We really enjoyed the time and would love to come back to Blacksod and Léim Siar again.

  We stayed at the Broadhaven hotel as a short break during a visit to my wife's family in the west of Ireland, and my wife had previously stayed at the hotel with her family approx 6 years ago, and had been impressed then by the standard of the hotel. So we missed breakfast, totally of own accord. We went down to the bar for something to eat. A lady who I presume was a manager came over and told us our meal was complimentary as we didn't have breakfast. This I thought was very nice.
