We had an evening meal in the bar and all 4 of us thought the quality of the food was excellent.Normally I expect good food but was very pleasantly surprised by both choice and quality of food on offer. Every thing else was great and would definately stay with you again.Thanks. I have to say how helpful.the staff where in.the hotel myself and husband had a truly wonderful.relaxed weekend.the dinner was gorgeous had the 4course on sat evening.was that brilliant a weekend we stayed till 8pm.after checkout..thanks everyone.
kaikki arvostelut » The Staff were very polite and helpfull, nothing was to much trouble. The location is perfect for touring the area and the views from the hotel to Pollan Bay are great. The breakfast was the best we have ever had in any hotel we have stayed in over the past 35 years. Please let the chef know we said thank you. Relaxed and informal, friendly staff and a beautiful position - view of the sea from our room was lovely especially in the stormy weather!. Rooms good. Rooms and pubic areas all spotless. Staff very friendly. Homely atmosphere. Good breakfast. excellent location, no better place for a holiday. Hotel clean and excellent staff. Staff very friendly, Hotel old fashioned but great atmosphere, would stay again,. This is a great place to spend a few days.They know how to cater for people. I wouldnt eat breakfast.if the kitchen is as bad as the rest of hotel I was taking no chances..would never stay here again.. there was not one thing i liked about this hotel. Nothing. I realise this sounds a bit nit picky but feel I ought to mention it.The view from our room on the second floor was abit grim(overlooked the roof of first floor and unfinished landscaping at the back)also we had a very squeeky floor which must be very annoying for guests below. On.first morning room.was.very cold.wont go without my housecoat again. There was nothing we disliked. Maybe the showers could be modernised. Asked for a twin room - our room had a double bed and a single bed and the only alternative offered was a smaller room at the back of the hotel. No problems. Hard beds. the weather. Being charged more than quoted. Told 2 nights would be £128 actually charged more for room than quoted when went to check out. could not stay longer. The staff didn't directly inform us of children's play area, which would have madebreakfastmore leisurely,. Old decor,needs updating and the bed was in very poor condition !. Everything.. 1. comfort was shocking 2. room was dated 3. noise from surrounding rooms was terrible 4. basic basic basic... 5. bed was rock hard a covers were flimsy 6. i will never ever ever stay here again i would rather stay i the comfort of my own car than pay the money we paid for this room. Run down and overprised for what we got!.
