My decision to say at Uma Karan hotel was right because too many city hotel in Bali and i don't like them at all. When we arrived at this hotel, we felt very happy because we got what we wanted. Cheap hotel just about 650 k and look like villa, so quit and relax, spacious room and bathroom, very beautifull swimming pool, good breakfast, and the most important for us was the service. The service was excellent like 5 stars hotel with friendly and helpfull staffs I like the ambience of Uma Karan.W.

The location is a little out of the way but do not let this get in your way, the staff will gladly call you a taxi and it will be there in less than 5 minutes. The room was beautiful and spacious as was the bathroom, very clean. The pool was amazing, great temp and surroundings. Staff are amazing here, will go out of their way to help you with a smile on their face. Breakfast was good, not joking when I say the best omelette i've ever had, brought straight to yo. Beautifull hotel with amazing pool, good design, spacious clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpfull staffs, good breakfast with many choices. All roooms face to the pool. The location was quiet, closed to the central of seminyak, just 10minutes by walking. The weather in Bali was very hot, swimming made me refresh. Many plants around the pool, i loved the pool much. Uma Karan highly recomended, value for money, and good service. Small, and out if the main area but the Uma Karan is a lovely small oasis. 8 rooms I think, either sude if a smakk but nice pool. If you need a taxi they ring one for you, always quick. The rooms were perfect, everything worked, great beds, perfect almost 5 star standard in a 3 star room. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. TIP: hang onto the Uma Karan map for the taxi ride home.Cheers. I loved that it was away from the fast pace of Kuta, the staff were absolutely beautiful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere a lovely escape. Great couples spot, if you want to get to Kuta $4-$7 aud taxi ride $3 taxi to Bintang supermarket in Seminyak. Once at hotel it feels like you are a million miles away, just what we needed. I loved it all…the size of the resort is perfect for a relaxing stay, the staff are all amazing. It’s the kind of place where you meet the other guests if you want…or keep it completely private. ..It’s hard to realise that the chaos is just around the corner….once you walk through the door you are back in a sanctuary. The staff are the nicest people in Bali and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spacious and clean with a gorgeous pool. Great location only 5mins to Seminyak. Great place as a solo traveller, feels like home. I will stay here everytime I come to Bali for business. Mee goreng (indonesian fried noodles) as breakfast everyday. The spa centre, Murano Spa nearby which provided free transportation to/from Uma Karan. Lovely rooms, nice big light bathroom and excellent shower. Very comfortable and excellent value. Was a 20min walk to the beach which was ok considering the price was very reasonable. Staff very friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, good location, very good price-quality relation and for sure I will be back to Uma Karan. Is a small hotel only has 10 rooms. The quality of the breakfast is great - but a bit more variety would be good. The breakfast is a bit mundane and grows tired fast with only the same options offered each day. Would be great to offer a few different choices including different fruits, toast, juice etc. Light glows on the air con bright in room, air con not very cold. The location is good, not too far from Seminyak main road but it was dark to walk after dark. So prepare torchlight or phone with light. Don't worry, the place is safe, just dark but safe to walk. Taxi ride is not too expensive from Kuta, we paid about US$5 per trip. It will be prefect if the hotel could provide toothbrush. Our room's air-conditioning stop working from 5am, although the staff there were helpful but no technician can repair nor change room. Location not good as hotels in kuta. American breakfast, close to east end of oberioi street but difficult to walk due to lack of footpaths. A few minutes walk from town but no big deal. A bit distant from the city. Access Road is muddy. Hard to find by Taxi Pillow to thin and soft, should provide 4 pillows instead of 2. Please charge a little more guys and stop scrimping on the breakfast. When I asked for an extra slice of toast I was told I would have to pay! This only leaves a bitter taste, this with all the other warnings about stains and towels etc projects a tight fisted approach to your customers. Please fix this as the accommodation is a great gem. Location and surrounding of hotel. Location. Lack of spaces for guests to hang out outside the hotel room: terrace; sitting areas. nothing I disliked.
