Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. Located in Ganesh Gati, Madri Haveli is a 5-minute walk from a clock tower, lake and Jagdish Temple. Udaipur Airport is 25 km away. Built using lime and stone materials, the air-conditioned rooms have a seating area by the window and are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV. Private bathroom with shower is included. Guests can enjoy a massage service in a dedicated massage room. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the property’s common areas. A tour desk and car rental services are available. Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines are served at the Madri Haveli’s rooftop restaurant.

The hotel is well located with beautiful design. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The service is excellent. They offer very competitive price for car rentle and pick-up service. The staffs are helpful and very friendly. The owner is a super nice guy with very strong sense of good service. We had a very good time and a perfect start of the journey. This hotel was a beautiful surprise. Probably the only hotel where I actually took pictures of my room since the decor and style was so unique in this restored old havelli. The staff was fantastic and the rooftop restaurant had great views combined with tranquility. Fairly close to the city palace, Udaipur's main tourist attraction.

I would highly recommend the hotel and whenever I will travel to Udaipur ( I am surely coming back) I will definitely stay at this hotel. we liked pretty much everything: the rooftop restaurant was lovely, the room was immaculate and full of character, staff was generally and really nice and helpful. on the whole the place had so much charm and character, and was well situated in town. it was a delight to stay there. Everything!!! The old haveli is beautifully restored, the rooms nicely furnished and the roof top restaurant has a fantastic view over the old town, mountains and the lake. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The Madri Haveli is only a 5 minutes walk away from the lake. + very friendly and helpful staff + awesome castle-like design + hotel located in the center of the city, you can reach the best sights on foot. + beautiful, clean rooms + delicious food (the pancakes you get for breakfast are the best) served on the rooftop. The location is great. You can walk to all key attractions easily. The room is well designed and comfortable for a solo traveler. The staff are helpful despite their English fluency. Breakfast set is big, full of selections and tasty. Excellent Hotel. The staff really go's the extra mile...to the extent that they opened their restaurant for me at 22:30 when I arrived. A 15min walk to all major tourist attractions in Udaipur. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The room was lovely. Spacious, comfortable, peaceful and atmospheric. Great location. The rooftop offers fantastic views and the restaurant up there is pretty good too. Service was excellent all around. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The manager was very, very helpful. The other staff was also extremely nice. The best hotel I have stayed at so far, one month into a world tour. The hotel is beatifull and comfortable, was a very good surprise!. Lovely, pretty room. Hot water supplied at certain hours of a day. However, you may still call reception to request it to be turned on at any part of the day. Internet is not available in the room, but once you step in the corridor the signal is very good. we had one awkward incident where a staff member was loitering around us waiting for a tip (with undisguised stares) after showing us to our room. not a big deal, but made us feel a littler weird after a long journey to get there. - frequent power shortages - probably that can´t be helped in udaipur when the monsoon starts. Internet is available only at the public area. You have to ask the staff to clean the room.They have a safety policy that they will not do the cleaning unless you request for it. The room could be right next to the locals' residents. If you are a light sleeper, ambience noise could be a bit loud especially from their heavy wooden room doors. no hot water on the shower... the good thing was that it was such a hot weather that it did not need hot shower. Shower water needed to be hotter. :). Better wifi. Could improve adding a minibar with cold water to the bedrooms.
