It was a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay there again if I was in the same area: - All staff were very attentive and helpful. Nearly all staff understood English, but this was at varying levels - the general manager was very welcoming and very informative. - The restaurant was good, with a varied selection of cuisines. A fabulous hotel with all the 5 star aminities at a great price , we recommend this hotel to everybody travelling to kochi.

Free Wi-fi is very welcome. very close to the railway station nice pool on the rooftop with nice view. The interior is first class - bedroom space, staff helpfulness, food. Excellent decor Friendly staff Great luxury for the price. brand new fresh feeling. Mooostly everything. Spacious we'll appointed rooms. Rooftop swimming pool. Good and varied breakfast buffet. Good selection of bar drinks and food at reasonable prices. Welcoming smile from the hotel door security. Polite and friendly staff. Not too far from main shopping areas on MG Road and Broadway Market. The room was finished with top quality materials except for the lighting which was atrocious. Many of the lamps were looking like they were beaten down. I liked the total ambience even in the bar which ran a great 1 for 1 free offer. I found the location to be a plus point as it was very near to the major shops on MG road as well as eateries. The bathrooms are modern, large, clean and well equipped. The staffs are quite pleasant, friendly and accomodating. Good Breakfast and staff. It was all very good, but to be really pedantic: - We were told about the spa when we checked in, but later found out building hadn't finished yet - this must have been lost in translation. - They played the same music (about 4 songs) in reception / lifts / restaurant on repeat, day in, day out. - We couldn't get food or drink service by the pool. Minor details have not been addressed. The bed-side switch panels don't work. The bathroom door does not close.Temperature control in the shower wasn't that great. rooms not very sound proof (we had very noisy neighbours and did not sleep a lot...). The location, although next to a major train station, is not on par to the hotel standard. Location slightly difficult to locate. too long A name. Major plumbing issues(works) , they did not inform me at the time of check in !!. Surrounding views not very appealing and location although great if arriving from train station is about 15 minute walk from harbour and ferries. Terrible lighting. Lamps were all in bad shape. Definitely not 5 star. I would say not fit even for sub standard hotels. I personally felt that the hotel should be more lighted up even though it was an eco hotel by using energy saving lights. The electricity cut happened and my door bell kept ringing thereafter which gave me a fright as there was nobody at the door. The rooms should be more sound proofed as we could hear some renovation works going on through the night and that was disturbing. Some of the staffs hardly smile while some are overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't good. The hotel didn't look clean. Location was a pain. I didn't feel a whole 5 star experience to be honest. The swimming pool area is essentially an unfinished construction site with labourers using the shower facility to take water for their work and the whole area is unsafe and unattractive, the spa is not yet functional, the location was not great being next to the railway station and an empty plot with open drains & various bits of rubbish visible, This is not a 5 star hotel in its location or its facilities and feels unfinished.
