  The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect. Where do you find a hotelowner who cleans you carwindow before driving off? - Absolutely lovely building. Beautifully decorated.   Veronika is a very good host. She is very friendly & helpful. We were collected from the train station upon our arrival and dropped off upon our departure. She is always in good mood and forever smiling & laughing. She took time upon our arrival to show us on the map were all the amenities where in Balatonfured. I would have no hesitation in recommending Veronika's Villa for a stay. - Very nice apartments near the beach. Perfect location, considerate owner, good value for money, very quiet and peaceful place. Economy apartments are quite smal but equepped by all necessary stuff.

  We stayed only one night in an apartment with two teenagers. It has perfect location, close to the promenade and very quiet at the same time. We saw a good few couples with small babies at breakfast, it is ideal for young families. It is easy to park inside if you arrive by car and seems to be a safe area.   We really liked the apartment. It is well located - only some minutes from the beach, ferry terminal, promenade, train station, shops etc. Rooms were clean and quiet. It is a pain to park our car in the city. However the apartment has a garden were we were able to leave our car. The staff is friendly, helpful and able to communicate well. It looks very plain from the outside but the inside is clean and well-maintained. Rooms are small but fair. The area is very quiet and the terrace is spacious, great for relaxing and with a fantastic view of Lake Balaton. The owner, Gabor, is friendly and helpful and this was a good place to stay for stopping over as we toured the Balaton Lake region.
