  Attila and his wife are the perfect hosts. The hotel is wonderful with a perfectly manicured garden which would be the envy of a florist. There is a vegetable garden which supplies the most wonderful fresh produce for the most wonderful breakfast buffet of any hotel I have ever been to. He was born and raised in Eger and is - If you search for Palazzo Wellness Villa using Google Map and street view, you may not even see this place. If you use your gps to guide you there, you will feel that you are certainly lost. The hills are steep and the streets are very narrow. As you turn on to a little side street, the property gate becomes apparent. Once inside, the property reveals itself as a beautiful oasis. Every kind of colorful blossom fills the palate. There is almost too much color and horticultural variety to take in

  This pension was fabulous! The facility is beautiful, impeccably clean, in a wonderful setting and with a friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate on the terrace under a trellis of grape vines. Prices are a bargain- our dinner wine and shared dessert for three 36 euros. We will come back to Hungary just to stay at this place again! Oh - The size of our 2 person suite was great and we were pleased that there was a small kitchenette in the room, this was half separated from the bedroom which is handy with little ones. We had a decent sized private outside area off our room that would have been lovely if the weather was warm enough! The hotel is situated right next to the valley which is perfect for wine tasting.

  Beautiful location in suburban hilltop part of Eger with wonderful view of the city below from balcony. Overall, good value for themoney. Comfortable and pleasant room but super-tiny bathroom. Breakfast (typical buffet for Hungarian hotels) was in the Panorama Hotel run by the owners, just down the street. (Not a problem on the sunny day we were t... mitä ihmiset sanovat » here but could be in rainy weather.) - The location was surprisingly close to the city centre despite being on the hill above the castle; even walking up the hill at night was fine. The view was good - though only from the upper floors; the garden was lovely. NIce breakfasts.
