  This pension was fabulous! The facility is beautiful, impeccably clean, in a wonderful setting and with a friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate on the terrace under a trellis of grape vines. Prices are a bargain- our dinner wine and shared dessert for three 36 euros. We had a decent sized private outside area off our room that would have been lovely if the weather was warm enough! The hotel is situated right next to the valley which is perfect for wine tasting.

Breakfast (typical buffet for Hungarian hotels) was in the Panorama Hotel run by the owners, just down the street.   Located on the hilltop in a nice quiet residential area just behind the town centre. Our room was right at the top and had a lovely view of the nearby mountains. The host/owner of the hotel was extremely friendly, helpful and one of the most pleasant we've met in a Hungarian hotel. Panorama Hotel is home -like, very friendly and comfortable pensione type accomodation. My room was huge, with a balcony. The bed is very comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly, definitely value for money, the chef makes delicious food (the best is the halászlé) and of course The Vine...
