  first class service and accommodation.I have stayed in hotels 46 weeks each year for 30 years and this hotel was exceptional value for money, most helpful staff, very high standard of decor and one of the best small hotels I have experienced. - Nice and clean rooms.   The owner were lovely although their english is not perfect they are trying hard to explain everything and answer your questions. We wanted to go horse ridimg they pick up the phone for us, and although it wasn t possible after all, got all the info for us. It s not far the center of Tihany and close to trail departure if you go hiking - The Room was bright, clean and airy and decorated very well with good storage. The garden outside was very pretty and it location of 10 minute walk from the centre of Tihany is great. However, we were there at the very end of September, and at 8pm, it was dead silent, felt more like it was midnight!

  The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect.   This is a simple guest house but a very good one with excellent facilities for the money. The villa is a 10-minute walk down to the lakeside and the walk itself is very pleasant. The owners were delightful, friendly but also knew to leave us to do our own thing. They were also very accommodating in terms of any requests we had.
