  The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect.   It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time.   Once we managed to walk there (no taxis available at bus station) it was in a good location for walking around town. Staff was helpful. Ac worked (but we were charged for it); WiFi sometimes worked (but at least it was indeed free).

  The owner was lovely and welcomed us very nicely even though we arrived very late. The room was fairly basic but extremely clean and tidy and we had a good nights sleep. It was a short drive to the lake where we drove to the following morning. - everything was perfect , clean , nice location for walk to city center , excellent breakfast

  We had an absolutely fantastic holiday there in June. The owners, a very nice couple, did their best to make our stay unforgettable. We had fantastic breakfasts - whatever we wanted to have. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spaceous, with comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms. There is a beautiful garden with outdoor swimming pool.
