  Simply everything. The hotel is right in the centre, just next to the main shopping street, sightseeing points and cafes. Our room went to the street but still it was very quiet inside and we had a good sleep. Staff is very kind and polite - they did not even mind that we showed up late for breakfast and served us specialities not even on the disp... mitä ihmiset sanovat » lay. The room was moderately decorated but it was clean, tidy and comfortable. It was an absolute plus that the heating was already turned to maximum - Pecs is a great place to visit and has a laid back atmosphere. This hotel was located just across the street from the Barbican and was a ten minute walk to the old town centre. We walked from the train and it took about 25 minutes. The breakfast was standard.

  What a wonderful, cozy place to stay. It's not very far to the main square (although in the blustery cold it felt longer) and it feels like a home as opposed to a hotel room. We really enjoyed our short stay there and would definitely recommend it to any traveller coming through Pécs.   We arrived late in the evening and they were waiting for us. We stay in the upper floor, under the roof and had all the amenities incl. fridge. There is a kitchen in the common space, parking in the yard, for free on the street during weekends. The location is perfect, old town square is 5-8 minutes, plaza is 2 minutes! I think this is a perfect place for a 1-3 nights weekend stay in Pécs. Also there is parking place!
