Oia - the most charming part of the town, a few steps away from the
observatory where everybody else will run to to watch the sunset. All
rooms are built like those small caves that are typical of Santorini and

The location is excellent as you can watch the dramatic sunset and has a
very good view of the Caldera. The design of the hotel is very Grecian
so if you want to experience or feel like an ancient Greek, this is the
best place! ;) It's beautiful during nighttime. It's not to far
from the main street where you can have coffee or dine in a very good

Our 5-day stay here was perfect with its marvelous views and breathtaking sunsets. Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly. Marios went out of
his way to make us feel comfortable. He helped us book ATVs and they
were delivered to us! The location is right in the middle of everything.
It is only a few blocks from the bus station, which is convenient. We
used the ATVs to visit most of the areas on the island, but we did take
the bus to the open air cinema in Kalmari (a must). The view is amazing!

We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. We came to Santorini for our honeymoon and it was the perfect location! we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, loved every second! The room had everything we needed, including a balcony with Caldera view! The pool was so nice, the perfect place to relax. The breakfast was so good, and the stuff were nice and kind. Marizan has been the most impressive stay in the decade for me and my wife.
We stayed with the Honeymoon cave type for 2 nights which is spacious and very clean. There are all necessary kitchen equipment.
The hotel locates on the best sunset viewpoint , no need to reserve the seat like the public viewpoint that require to reach there 2-3 hours before sunset.
Georgia and Giannis (Owners) took care us very great, we felt warm like staying at home.
It takes only 10 minutes to the center of Oia.

The house is situated in the very heart of Oia. The view is really fantastic. You can either spend some time at the verandah enjoying the marvelous view (which is probably the best all over) or you can walk along the main pedestrian road with all the shops and restaurants which is a few steps away. The bus station is also very close. The house is very nice and clean, and it was a pleasant and unusual experience to live in a traditional Greek house. We could hardly find a better place to stay in

one of the words I would add is ritualistic. the area of oia is in general, but caldera villas allow visitors to feel that connection with nature, history, and raw simple goodness through its dialogues with the cliffs and human settlement. The decor, strategies in design, the food, the hospitality and flexibility of the staff etc. guarantee a wholesome stay.

The view was amazing, the suites are on the cliff face.
The very private nature of the suites, pool, service very good. Nothing was too much trouble for Albert of George, any thing you wanted they would provide.
Very close walking to restaurants and Thira shops and access to the old port cable car, path or donkeys.
