  We liked everything about this guest house. Our apartment was perfect with lounge, self catering facilities, separate bedroom and modern bathroom. ..all cleaned every day.Our balcony overlooked the beautiful garden, pool and surrounding hillsides. Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! The room and bathroom were quite large for European standards. There are dozens of restaurants on the pro - Perfect location, nice staff and vivid town. We could enjoy the view to the small island from the balcony. Also the parking was not a problem even if the access to the hotel is limited due to the pedestrian zone starting in front of the hotel. There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere.   A lovely, well maintained little hotel in a great location. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. It had a beautiful view from the balcony overseeing the town, harbour and Palamidi fortifications. The staff was always available, very helpfull and kind. Our son liked the pictures on the internet so we booked it but were not expecting too much. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations.
