We extended our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Many police officers 24/7 in the area. Safe and quiet place.

  Staffs are super friendly and helpful all the time. On the last day before we left, we went downstairs to get some food (at about 9 in the night). Staff told us the restaurant were closed but they would like to ask the kitchen if they can make some food for us (from the hotel next to Ariston). Surprisingly, they made it !!!! Recommend for group of friends, couples, families. - the staff is very kind and most welcoming. we realy enjoyed staying there. before booking this hotel we were a little worried about the area. but there we had no problem, and never bumped into any strange people. except for that the real benefit of the hotel is that also it's in the centre of athens, it is lockated just next to a metro station, and it takes no more than 5-7 minutes to go from there to all the main sites of the city.

  This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis
