  Everything was great! After we booked Lambros, the owner sent us a friendly email asking article details and arranged to meet us at the ferry. From there it was a short walk to villa, which is about a 2 min walk from the beach and in a beautiful setting with lots of vines and flowers. Every morning we would be greeted by him and or his sister and made to feel so welcome an - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mata. This family-run place is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have private balconies, but there are also communal spaces which make it easy to meet other travellers. The garden setting is gorgeous and really peaceful. Many people hit up Ios to party, but we had a very relaxing time staying at Villa Mata. The little outdoor kitchen is handy for cooking up some food. Also the staff were really helpful when we were planning our onward leg.

  Friendliness of Olga and staff, lovely view from porch, the pool and bar area (too cool to swim but beautiful!). Olga was very helpful when my husband hurt his ankle.   The staff was very cool. We asked for the free transfer from the port and the owner of the place came with a very welcoming mood. Everything inside the apartment worked very well. To finish, the location is good.   The family who runs this hotel are wonderful, friendly and really helpful! It's clean and located in the centre. If you like walking, it's a great location to get some exercise and walk to some nearby beaches.   Very happy with this. I was travelling on my own but was make to feel at home by the owner. Location is amazing, literally across the road from the centre. The hotel had a young, vibrant feel and all the people were alot of fun.
