Our first time to Amorgas, we'll be back! It's hard to imagine a better sited hotel on the island than the Vigla, we had room 12, the panoramic views from the balcony were fantastic.

friendly staff, good restaurant food with a great breakfast. Also great
local Tavernas just behind the hotel. Hotel is 25 km from port of
Katapola where ferry came in - 25 euros by taxis and 2.5 km from port of
Aegeili. If staying for a few nights need to hire a car. Hotel organised
and had it dropped off at hotel - 30 euros a day with full insurance -
Thomas car rentals were very good. A must to see is the monastery!

Staff at Gryspo's was very polite and friendly, offering to transfer us anywhere we asked (port/beach). Rooms were very spacious and cleaned daily, while the location is very convenient as it set on a quiet road, but just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Aegiali. Generally we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. -

Our sea-view room had a great view. The balcony was spacious and usable with a sunshade.
The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful.
The pool was great as we had some windy weather which meant swimming in the sea was tricky for a few days.
The breakfast was excellent; yoghurt, honey, bread & jam, fresh orange juice, coffee and omelettes.
The room was very nicely decorated and furnished.
