The hotel was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The location was great. The breakfast started at 8 AM and it was good. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Love it. This was my second stay. Reasonable rates, great breakfast andright in the middle of the best city in Germany!!. Very good location, friendly staff, room is very good for short stays. Owner was vry nice, the rooms were also very nice, very charming. It was quant and the people were quite accomidating. Excellent food and right in the middle of old town. lots of character and very good breakfast. Room number 10 which we stayed in (The Princess and the Pea Room) was absolutely charming with a 4 poster bed and a single, all with matching furniture. I think it was the one in the advertisement for the hotel. Breakfast was very nice, staff was helpful. This hotel really is centrally located right in the middle of the old town. What a charming city. Internet. Closed to town square. House owner is very friendly, giving the relaxing feeling after the long distance travelling. The owner especially prepared us scramble eggs along with the breafast buffet, knowing we were Americans and probably preferred them to the usual hard boiled egg. The hotel has many charming features. It is almost adjacent to the main square too, but at least in my experience, not noisy at all. The matresses were a bit soft and the footboard bothered my tall husband a bit. Our bathroom had a shower/no bath which was fine for us but our friends room had a bath no shower. Bathrooms are small which is typical in Europe. Overall though, for the price the hotel was great and we would stay again. The parking lot mentioned in Booking.com needs to take 5~10 minutes to reach. And in Rothenburg there is lot og stone-plates road. I wonder if it will damage the wheel of our travel luggage.car parking and directions information. No elevator, though the stairs are wide and easy to manage.Hotel operator could not speak English. Quite basic but great for the price.because it is centrally located it is also near the foot traffic... so late and early noise can be a factor. The room is somewhat dart at night. The only minor complaint is that the check out time is rather early. No tv and no telephone in the rooms.my partner is over 2 meters tall and the bed was far to short. starting time of breakfast was late(8:30). No elevator; difficult to get person that needs wheelchair upstairs. No AC - need to choose between air from outside and noise or warmth and quiet. Bathroom space is a bit narrow. Dinner foods were a bit no good.Cigarette odour from lobby to room. No coffee or tea in room.
