  The staff was very helpful, even providing maps and a collection of area brochures on arrival that matched our email request for information. The food at the hotel's restaurant was superb, and special requests were easily accommodated. The apartment was roomy for 4 and complete. - Hotel staff were excellent and the meals were very good. The location has paths through beautiful forests and a lake. The Schloss and Gut Wendlinghausen nearby was closed on Monday so we missed the dinner show and other activities they offer. Many restaurants in Germany close on Monday which we did not know.
