When I remembered later in the evening I called and the lady at the reception was kind enough to locate my phone through house keeping. We needed a place to stay near the airport in order to arrive at the airport for an early flight.   pretty well perfect for a layover in frankfurt. three stops in from the airport is the Hbf, where majority of the city's hotels are. It is also the Red Light District. Many reviews have issues with the area, but this doesnt reflect on the hotel to me. But for a layover, you don't want to go further than Hbf for convience. We arrived at 6pm. We took the S-bahn 3 stops to Hbf, walked one blo - About 100 meters from Frankfurt’s main station. Friendly staff. Super modern and clean rooms; the toilet especially with new elegant fittings. Hi-speed Wifi. Hot drink facilities even in the single rooms. Outside on the streets: prostitutes, drug dealers, mayhem. A suitable hotel for a blitz biz trip only.

  Staff was very nice. Good restaurant with expensive but food you could eat. They even cooked some delicious wiener schnitzel for us that was not on the menu. Breakfast was good but they could use some personal cooking like omelets or fried eggs made on the spot. Beautiful view of the Rhine from our junior suite.
