  Lovely, very quiet hotel with the nicest European hotel rooms we've seen yet! No children were there when we were which made it even more quiet and romantic. The location is perfect for walking Bamberg. The underground parking was very nice since there's little street parking. It was very easy to walk to the sights and the Christmas Market. A plus that we could park in the garage underneath the hotel! Skylight windows that open were a nice touch We ate dinner at the Restaurant and it was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel

We had a very good and reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was one of the best that we had during our trip. The chocolate shop at the hotel had a very good selection of beautifully made candies. The hotel has a bakery as a storefront and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very generous and excellent.

Breakfasts were outstanding--one could order freshly fried eggs, omelettes, bacon etc. the buffet featured lots of meat, cheeses, breads and fresh fruit.
