The staff were brilliant and their English was superb, unlike our German!
We stayed for dinner at the hotel twice of our four nights and it was excellent, we ate the same meal both nights! The service was also excellent.
We also had breakfast one morning which was good and again the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble..

I was alone after a business trip and it was everything I wanted and more. The service is tip top. They speak English and will help you with anything. The style is Ultra Modern - great for a luxury stay, though moderately priced. Location is great - it's a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the Alt Stadt.

There are many places to stay in Meersburg but the best (and only in our opinion) choice by far is the Hotel Strand Cafe. Top notch hotel in all ways, location, staff (English spoken by owner and very helpful and friendly), building, comforts, breakfasts and restaurant. We felt at home and well cared for in the most lovely site and truly were sad to leave and would stay there again and will recommend to our travel agent and all friends heading that way.

Excellent accommodation. Host was very welcoming and very helpful, indicating location of supermarket etc. Apartment was fantastic. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Private parking space was very welcome as location is in the middle of a town so quite busy. The heart of the black forest is very easily reachable after a relatively short drive. Location is also very close to Freiburg, as well as the Vosges in France. Food in the steak house below was divine. One of the best meat meal

Great location for the attractions of Friedrichshafen. Even though the hotel is next to the train station where buses stop, we were not disturbed at all by any noise.
Underground parking very secure.
Loved the big bowl of free 'jaffa' like cakes on reception and the rubber duck given as a gift when you check out! -

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling back to the uk. We chose this hotel as it was very close to the town of Freiburg (approx 3km).
The hotel has secure underground garage parking for those who drive.
Our rooms was very comfortable, it was on the end of the building on a corner.
