  The hotel was in a lovely setting, near the top of large hill/small mountain. It had fabulous views and was neat and beautifully maintained. Although we arrived very late, at almost 11pm, having phoned to apologise, we were still provided with a cold dinner. The room was as promised, breakfast was delicious and so was dinner. We only stayed for 2 nights and would happily go back. - Such a nice place to stay.   This was our second stay at Heiligenstein and we highly recommend it. It is NOT in Baden Baden (10 min drive) but is in a very beautiful and quiet area among vineyards with nice views from many rooms. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. It is a great place for relaxation, the rooms are very well furnished, the view is great, the staff are very nice that you feel at home and Baden Baden is just 15 min. by car .
