Mitä ihmiset sanovat
The hotel is centrally located in the old town part of Munich. Easily accessible by public transportation and close to all main tourist sites. The room was quite big and comfortable. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, for a pension in the city center. There were even two live plants in the room. The staff was curteous and the breakfast was good.
Great location, clean, quiet (our room was facing courtyard). Very
helpful personnel. We've paid 75 Euros for the double room with
private shower/WC during the Opera festival which is a great deal
for Altstadt. If you don't want the dull continental breakfast, go
to Segafredo café on Rosenthal 1 (outside terrace facing market square).kaikki arvostelut »
Great location in the middle to Munich. Very easy walk to walk to, perfect for a stay when you're walking the city or taking the U-Bahns around Munich to destinations.
Very friendly check-in and hotel staff. Excellent location and very close to all public transportation options. Quiet room.
Excellent value.
Location is great. Price is good. wifi is good. It is clean. Budget friendly hotel.
Great location, quiet street, very good breakfast, excellent mattress.
The best place in the centre (close to to Hautbahnhof), good price.
The location is very good and the rooms are excellently clean.
Good central location. Public transport easily accessible.
Very close to the city, easy to get to any part of it.
it's all about the brilliant location
Clean hotel.
Very friendly staff, super clean and cosy room.
Location of the hotel, aimable personnel, clean.
Quiet room, and great location of hotel.
very good service on fair price.
location, breakfast.
Great location!. Nice clean rooms.
Good breakfast.
This hotel is in a perfect location - 10 min. walk to Marienplatz. Plenty of shopping, food and services are very close by. The room was typically small and basic but clean. We requested a room in the back building so the view looked into a center courtyard but it was completely quiet at night. There were only two rooms per floor and we only heard our neighbors once in 3 nights. The breakfast was nice, small and basic - typical meats, cheese, cereals, yogurts, fruit, rolls, etc. Staff was.
Location was perfect for sight seeing and Octoberfest, 3 flights of stairs with luggage a little struggle but overall very good.
Very friendly receptionist lady!
Clean room
Coffee smell in the morning from the breakfast room makes the place very cozy.
The room was large and nicely laid out in a very quiet backroom. While
somewhat quaint, it was clean and well laid out.
when we checked in about 5 pm the receptionist was fantastic.
Location is great. The hotel is quite basic still clean.
Great location near Marienplatz and train station.
Location is great.
location good.
Good location.
Location.
It was relatively cheap for Munich at this time of year(Spring
festival). Location was excellent.
It came with a fan which was useful as it was very hot.
the hotel is in absolutely city center.
Good location.
Location was good and staff reasonably helpful.
Cash only, which we didn't know until we were checking out. There is an ATM nearby.
Very small rooms, cost of breakfast a little high but you can walk across the street and get breakfast from a cafe for decent price.
Small bathroom sink.
Rooms dont have bath. Bathroom is shared.
Automatic light in bathroom when door is opened.
Poor handles on elevator door.
Everything was excellent.
Room smelled rather strongly of cigarette smoke.
Furniture is a little bit old.
No wi-fi in the bedroom :(.
Tv was old with limited channels.
putting a shower cabin in the room is not a good idea.
heavy smoking smell from the shared bathroom on the corridor.
shower water was hard to control, walls a bit thin, maids start very early, no elevator after 10pm. Toilets not by rooms.
Crowded breakfast room.
We never received fresh towels, even though we put them on the floor after two days. The halls and stairways were a bit dingy and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. There was a lot of stuff stored in the hallways and stair landings which made it feel a little cluttered but it didn't get in the way. The WiFi signal was very weak and could only be used by sitting on a bench outside the reception window in the hallway but it sufficed.
Octoberfest ran the price of the rooms through the roof and a thicker pillow would have been great.
I booked the last room just a few hours before the arrival, and I probably got the worst room in the hotel - a small one situated right over the receptionist desk, so that in the morning I could basically overhear everything that was happening there, starting 6.30 a.m. But I guess other rooms are better value for money though.
The wifi, while free was atrocious - it did not work in my room (26) at
all. Whenever I had to use the wifi, I had to move to the central area
around the reception.
This could be easily remedied by having an extra hotspot in the annex, but no such solution were implemented. A shame that really tarnished my trip.
the night receptionist and the morning receptionist the next day were rude.
the rooms & design are very basic.
There was no hair dryer in shower or room.
Room was smelly.
lift stopped at 10.00 p.m. so had to climb to 4th floor.
The room too small, not so clean and breakfast was bad.
Opening hours.
Receptionist lady wasn't cooperative.
The staff were unpleasant ie.(couldn't care less attitude). The
breakfast area was very small; also had a look at the breakfast
selection ,which would cost €7 extra, and decided not to have it. Did
not receive any information or maps on Munich. Housekeeping staff
knocking on doors at 8.30 in the morning to carry out their cleaning
tasks.(no sleep-ins).
I book based on what is written in letsbookhotel.com. The hotel stated that it
had wifi in all areas and that it accepted credit cards. However when I
arrived I discovered that they don't take any credit cards, and that
the annex I was in did not have working wifi. When I asked about it I
was told that I could sit in the hallway and get signal there.
- no pay with credit card
- very small rooms without toilet, bathroom.
No internet in rooms.
Slow internet in dinning area. Cheap fitings and furniture.
Only cleaned my room after 2pm.
Room very basic, bathroom wasn't cleaned well and there was a hole in our bathroom door so everytime someone used the toilet all the light came in and woke everyone up! Not good value for money as we stayed in other hotels which were similarly priced which were a lot nicer.
The hotel tried to changed the price of the room for almost a double price. They claimed that letsbookhotel.com made a technical mistake but after my stay I saw that they were still giving the same old price. I think the hotel is trying to cheat by giving wrong price on purpose. I would never stay again at this hotel.
