This is a basic hostel for students and backpackers. It is not a hotel. It is clean, secure, centrally located and excellent value for money, but it is not a hotel: there are no carpets on the floor, no furniture to speak of etc. The young man (Isi?) at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and comfortable. The location could not have been better, right in the heart of Leipzig.

If I will need a place to sleep in Leipzig ever again I will go back to Say Cheese Leipzig. Our room was very clean and confortable, the beds are really good ! The courtyard could be noisy and smoky at times, but luckily we could close our window as it was not too hot at night. Nothing. Was dust under my bed. They had a couple of problems with cleaning staff, so it was a tiny bit less clean than usual, but normally this wouldn't be a problem. The kitchen closes at 22. at night, it's a bit early. The hotel as no decorations in the kitchens and rooms, it makes a cold atmosphere and you don't really feel "at home". Nothing. Breakfast a bit expensive, but ok. Some parts of hostel weren't quite finished!. They mistakenly give me a wrong room, but they give back my money. not a cosey hostel though; very space age. nothing. nothing. The location is a little bit far from S-Bahn. the closets are small. breakfast. At night is too noisy due to the location. many bars and restaurants nearby, almost not possible for people who need quiet environment to fall asleep. The receptionerist on May 20 laied me twice when I asked the way to go to New Messe and shopping street. He even marked on the map fals information. That makes tourist very up set. The wrong man stands there.
