  We went to see the Cathedral and the surrounding area. Very nice and walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and allowed us to keep our luggages in a locked and secured room with tags on it. The room is small but we only stayed there to sleep. We were gone the whole day.   I highly recommend Hotel Benelux. The location is ideal because it is so close to the Dom square. Parking is available on site or right around the corner in a large parking garage. The rooms are very very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff is very friendly and breakfast is served to you at your table.   The owner picked us up from the train station and brought us to the apartment, showing us round before leaving which was a nice touch. The apartment was perfect for a couple to share, everything was provided for (tea/coffee etc) as well as comfortable seating and beds. - Efficient, friendly, spotlessly clean.   The room was modern and clean. The proprietor was very friendly. The center of Aachen is only 12 minutes away. The breakfast was only 5 euro and good value for money (with fresh rolls and an omelet). There was no noise from the pub downstairs, because it was closed. The hotel and pub have been sold to a new owner. (At the moment of writing they a... mitä ihmiset sanovat » re in the middle of the transfer.) What will this mean for the future? - Everything from the minute I walked in the door ( late 12:30am) I was treated like a king! Very friendly and no language gap but I do speak a little German, owner speaks very good English.
