  For a short ( 3 night) stay in central Berlin, we found it very good value for money. The rooms were very basic, but clean. We were really only at the hotel for sleeping and breakfast. (Not so good if you expect to spend a lot of time in your room; e.g. no tv).   It was really clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was pretty good too. I stayed in a single room with attached bathroom. Although the hotel is situated next to a train line, my windows faced an inner yard and it was nice and quiet so I slept really well.   I only stayed one night, but it was very nice. A big clean room with a big comfortable bed, a nice desk to work in the window, and fast wifi. It is an easy walk from the U-Bahn station. The hosts were very welcoming. I arrived wet from the rain, and they put out hot tea for me, and even loaned me an umbrella for the day. If you walk along the road under the railroad tracks it is about 5-10 minutes walk from hauptbahnhof. No screaming party drunks were heard in 5 days of my stay. suits very well for families.
